Set in Matemwe, famous for its white powder sand beaches –  on the East Coast of Zanzibar is Villa Turquoise. It is built in the East African colonial style with an impressive thatch Makuti roof. The Villa is located right at the beach with stunning views of the lagoon and the Indian ocean. the sunrise over the lagoon is a sensational experience every morning and the perfect start to another day in paradise. The villa offers total privacy ensuring a very relaxing holiday away from the crowds. The house has 4 en-suite and air-conditioned bedrooms with king-size beds and one additional extra large bedroom with two king-size beds, all are covered with mosquito-nets. An extra child bed with mosquito net is available.There are two kitchens of which one is open with a view of the lagoon and the Indian ocean. The house is cleaned daily (including dish washing and laundry). A gardener maintains the pool and garden daily. A cook is available when needed and can cook breakfast-lunch-dinner. The house has 4 dining areas, one outside on the large wooden terrace in front of the house to enjoy a sunrise breakfast overlooking the private beach and the lagoon, one inside on the ground floor of the house and one at the wind free terrace next to the house. There is an additional large dining area on the first floor under the Makuti roof with a 270 degrees view of the ocean and the jungle behind the house. The house is also ideally located to partake in water sports with the One Ocean Dive centre nearby.
