Two of the to escape to team (Tom & Sophie) had a hard earned break in Southern Mozambique recently and found a beach destination that takes barefoot luxury to a new level. "Our first stop was Casa Rex in Vilanculos, which has an unforgettable view over the Bazaruto Archipelago. The hotel has been completely refurbished and is reasonably priced. In fact the only down side was we ate too many prawns! We then took a helicopter (I have tried to mention that casually) to Benguerra Island where we stayed at Azura Retreat. This property was listed in the Sunday Times Hot 100 properties and, while we were there, Discovery Channel were filming for a programme on the top eco lodges in the World.
