On Botswana's far northern border lies the Kwando, Linyanti and Chobe river system forming a series of lakes, islands and flood plains that make up the Chobe National Park, famous for large buffalo and elephant herds, its variety of predators, and abundant birdlife decorating the beautiful waterways.
