Msambweni House is a real gem located in an unspoilt area of the Southern Kenya coast. Situated on a 40-foot high cliff, it offers stunning views along a beautiful & quiet beach and the Indian Ocean. Accommodating only 12 guests in total, a stay here is all about peace and tranquillity with attention to detail and personal service. Guests can stay in either a master room in the main house, one of three Lamu Villas, or for the more adventurous in the funky spacious tented room. For those seeking complete privacy, the Lamu Villas are perfect and have their own huge swimming pools. The property is secluded so the emphasis is on relaxation and personal service. That said there are plenty of activities guests can enjoy such as massages on the beach, local snorkelling, walks to the local village, diving, island trips & visits to see elephant in the Shimba Hills all within a short drive.

This property is perfect if you are looking to get away from it all. It is remote - 15 minutes of dirt track from the main road leads you to the house and this is precisely what makes it so appealing. It is set at the end of a long beach & a 30 minute walk to the other end takes you past the odd local fisherman and a few private houses. The food is very good and the staff go to lengths to make your stay special, with private dinners set up in different locations every night. Understated luxury - this place is pure heaven.
