RESPONSIBLE TOURISM
The walking safaris are dedicated to conservation in Kenya and specifically in the particular areas where they operate. Since conservation and people are directly linked, the safaris actively support the communities, by employing local people, paying conservation fees to the communities, and purchasing all local goods whenever possible. The owners of the ranch have supported and encouraged sustainable, traditional honey production for the last seven years, by buying raw honey from the local Samburu and Laikipia Maasai people and processing it, employing many local people. The locally produced honey is then delivered to markets in Nairobi, allowing the honey gatherers to sell their product to a much larger market.Responsive Tourism: to escape to living responsibly

TO ESCAPE TO VERDICT
This a very unique way of seeing and experiencing Kenya. You get a great feel and insight into nature and the people. Its definetely one for the more adventurous who don't mind coming out of their comfort zone of mod-cons and plumbed bathroom. A reasonable level of fitness does help but the walk can be paced as required. It really is a once in a life time and unforgettable experience.
ROMANTIC RETREAT
This walk can be done exclusively for 2 people so what better way of spending a honeymoon or romantic holiday than exploring nature and sipping sun-downers in the Kenyan bush. Once you have slept under the African stars, listened to nightjars calling, or the singing of Samburu warriors in the distance, you will have unforgettable memories of being close to nature in the wilds of Africa.
