Los Notros has an unrivalled position as the only lodge within the Los Glaciares National Park and the only lodge that overlooks the Perito Moreno Glacier. It is hard not to be spell bound by the wonderful wall of powder blue ice viewed from all rooms, especially as night falls and almost all the boats and tourists have headed back to Calafate. Los Notros have worked hard to keep the natural feel of their location within the lodge. No tv or phones, simple but cosy rooms and good eco principles. The quality comes in the linen, the food and the service. Being within the National Park several activities are included in the package such as ice trekking, boat trips to the glacier and riding. We felt the price of the rooms a little steep. Perhaps 4 star quality with a 5 star price but what a price for a 24/7 view of such a beautiful natural wonder of nature.

Los Nostros is a great place for an adventurous Family Holiday. Located within Los Glaciares National Park, families can enjoy horseback riding across the steppe, sailing among icebergs, or donning crampons to clamber onto Perito Moreno's crevasse-scythed surface

Los Nostros caters well for children, with cots, extra beds and even a playroom, to keep younger ones amused. Some of the superior rooms have a 3rd bed.

From Los Nostros Families can go on a variety of exciting excursions;
Minitrekking: With a difficulty rating of medium it is suited to 10 – 65 year olds. A great introduction to the fascinating landscape of the glaciers: small lagoons, gullies, crevasses and plenty of ice formations of the most incredible blues.
Nautical safari: This excursion takes you on a cruise across Brazo Rico, passing beside icebergs, which have calved off the south front of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Horseback riding: Explore the steppe, with the Cervantes Glacier, the Moreno Hill, and the Hills of the Estancias as the landscape, visiting the old ranches of the pioneers’ families in the shore of the Branch Rico. You may even see an Adean condor on your ride.
