Las Balsas, a Relais & Chateau property and one of the best known in Patagonia. Situated just outside the sleepy village of Villa La Angustura on the lakeshore. It is a lodge that oozes quality in both it’s design and service. The standard rooms are comfortable and although not huge have wonderful views over the lake while the suites offer extra space and style. The spa is one of the best we saw in the area including the intriguing chocotherapy! There is a motor cruiser and a yacht available for guests ensuring a wonderful choice of activities exclusively for guests only. Las Balsas is a quality hotel in a beautiful setting.

Although Las Balsas is one of the best known hotels in the area there are certain extras this brings such as small groups visiting for lunch and making the common areas feel a lot busier than they should. That said the guest book comments are excellent.
